Steptoe & Johnson Names New Managing Members for Meadville and Wheeling Offices

Steptoe & Johnson PLLC has named Glenn A. W. Thompson the Managing Member of the firm’s Meadville office and Kristen Andrews Wilson the Managing Member of the firm’s Wheeling office. As Managing Members, they will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of their offices and working to increase the visibility of the firm in their communities, while continuing their current legal practices.

“We are happy to have Glenn and Kristen leading the Meadville and Wheeling offices,” said Steptoe & Johnson CEO Christopher L. Slaughter. “We know they will do a terrific job in these roles, and we look forward to them continuing to build upon the outstanding performances of outgoing Managing Members, Jon Beckman and Ben McFarland, respectively. We thank Jon and Ben for their hard work and dedication to Steptoe & Johnson.”

Thompson is a member of the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources Department and focuses his practice on real estate and mineral title law. In addition to working with traditional oil and gas clients he also assists clients in the growing renewable energy industry. His background also includes assisting clients with due diligence services and business formation matters.

Wilson is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department where she assists clients with health care regulatory compliance and litigation defense. She focuses her practice on assisting hospitals, nursing homes, hospice providers, home health providers, independent general practices, and specialty physician groups avoid costly and disruptive litigation by advising them on best practices and compliance with state and federal health care regulations.
