Jackson Kelly PLLC’s Executive Committee is pleased to announce that Attorneys Neil C. Brown, Laura Hoffman Lorensen, Jessica L. Robey, and Cassee L. Vivian have been promoted to Members, effective January 1st, 2024.

Neil C. Brown practices in the Health Care industry group, focusing primarily on health care regulatory issues and mergers and acquisitions. He practices out of the Firm's office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He provides advice to clients on regulatory and operational questions involving information privacy and security, health care fraud and abuse, Medicare and Medicaid, and other matters pertaining to compliance with federal and state health care laws.
Laura Hoffman Lorensen practices in the Labor & Employment practice group. She practices out of the Firm's office in Charleston, West Virginia. As a labor and employment lawyer, Laura focuses primarily on counseling employers and defending matters in state and federal court with respect to claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful and retaliatory discharge, wage and hour, and breach of contract. She also represents employers in administrative proceedings before various government agencies.
Jessica L. Robey practices in the Health Care and Manufacturing industry groups, focusing primarily on litigation. She practices out of the Firm’s office in Charleston, West Virginia. Immediately prior to joining the Firm, Jessica served as Education Counsel with the West Virginia Senate, where she drafted and amended legislation while working alongside multiple state agencies, public interest groups, and other staff attorneys.
Cassee L. Vivian practices in the Banking industry group, focusing primarily on tax and trusts and estates. She practices out of the Firm's office in Evansville, Indiana. Cassee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in humanities-prelaw from Michigan State University. She then went on to obtain a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law.
