Third Annual King of Hearts Day!
*Make this Valentine’s Day Unforgettable*
In honor of the late Charles E. King, Jr.’s tradition of performing Valentine's Day weddings, Kanawha County Circuit Court Judge Maryclaire Akers announces the Third Annual King of Hearts Day. In keeping with tradition, Judge Akers will be performing weddings all day on February 14, 2024, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Special thanks to Balloons by Byrdi, who will make Judge Akers’ courtroom photograph ready with special wedding decorations.
The only requirement is a marriage license from any West Virginia County Clerk and two lovebirds ready to tie the knot. Appointments are encouraged and can be made by calling Kim Gregory at 304.357.0367. Spontaneous lovebirds will be accommodated until 4:30 p.m.
