West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey announced a representative from his office will meet with central and southeastern West Virginia residents in March to discuss consumer-related issues and answer any potential questions.
“These public events are a great way for consumers to talk one-on-one with our consumer representatives,” Attorney General Morrisey said. “Residents can easily get questions answered, learn what is going on in their area and how to keep personal information safe and secure.”
Justin Arvon, a consumer outreach and compliance specialist with the office, will host the events as scheduled below:
March 6: 4:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. – The Chocolate Moose, 1818 Harper St., Beckley
March 8: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. - Raleigh County Commission on Aging, 1614 S. Kanawha St., Beckley (National Consumer Protection Week event)
March 11: 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – Tudor’s Biscuit World, 323 N. Court St., Fayetteville
March 20: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Summersville City Hall, 400 Broad St., Summersville
March 21: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Hinton City Hall, 322 Summers St., Hinton
March 26: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Raleigh County Courthouse, 222 Main St., Beckley
