In a lawsuit filed in the Circuit Court of Kanawha County, West Virginia, Trayvon Strange is suing the West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation along with Corporal Daniel McKnight, CO II Rowe, Sgt. Moore, CO II Evans, and CO II Muldrew. The case ID is 24-C-01G and was filed on February 28th.

Represented by Paul Stroebel of Stroebel & Stroebel PLLC, Strange alleges that he was left in a contaminated cell for over two hours without proper decontamination while incarcerated at the Mount Olive Correctional Center (MOCC). He claims this resulted from the actions of defendants McKnight, Rowe, Moore, Evans, and Muldrew who were responsible for spraying his pod.

Strange further asserts that these willful and intentional acts led to his injury. He seeks damages up to an amount commensurate with the amount of insurance coverage applicable to the claims made herein.
