Attorney General Patrick Morrisey announced a representative from his office will meet with southern West Virginia residents in October to discuss consumer-related issues and answer any potential questions.
“These public events are a great way for consumers to talk one-on-one with our consumer representatives,” Attorney General Morrisey said. “Residents can easily get questions answered, learn what is going on in their area and how to keep personal information safe and secure.”
Mandy Thompson, a consumer outreach and compliance specialist with the office, will host the events as scheduled below:
- Oct. 2: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. – McDowell County Public Library, 90 Howard St., Welch
- Oct. 8: Noon to 1 p.m. – Boone-Madison Public Library, 375 Main St., Madison
- Oct. 9: 11 a.m. to noon – Mullens Opportunity Center, 309 Guyandotte Ave., Mullens
- Oct. 16: 11 a.m. to noon – Hamlin-Lincoln Public Library, 7999 Lynn St., Hamlin
- Oct. 18: 10:30 a.m. to noon – One Cup Coffee, 893 Cook Parkway, Oceana
- Oct. 21: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. – Kermit Public Library, 103 Main St., Kermit
- Oct. 23: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Buffalo Creek Memorial Library, 511 E. McDonald Ave., Man
- Oct. 28: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. – Craft Memorial Library, 60 Commerce St., Bluefield
