Steptoe & Johnson PLLC has named Scott M. Campbell the Managing Member of the firm’s Denver office and Laura H. McConnell-Corbyn the Managing Member of the Oklahoma City office.

“We are glad to have two high-profile attorneys lead the growing Denver and Oklahoma City offices,” said Steptoe & Johnson CEO Christopher L. Slaughter. “I am confident they will leverage their new roles to continue to build on the outstanding progress of outgoing Managing Members David R. Little and Sandra K. Fraley, respectively. We thank both David and Sandy for their time and efforts leading each office over the last few years.”

Campbell is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department, Energy Litigation Practice Group, and focuses his practice on energy and natural resources litigation in both state and federal courts. In addition to representing clients before Oil and Gas Conservation Commissions in Colorado and Wyoming, Campbell also counsels clients in appellate, bankruptcy, commercial, and probate matters.

McConnell-Corbyn is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and brings nearly 40 years of experience to advising and defending corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals on a range of issues including complex, high-value commercial and domestic litigation, property division, and all facets of family law.

In addition to maintaining their legal practices, Campbell and McConnell-Corbyn will manage the day-to-day operations of their offices and continue to increase the visibility of the firm’s presence in their respective communities.
