Mercer couple seek $50K over modular home

Mercer

PRINCETON - A Mercer County couple are suing after their home was damaged during installation.

Robert Samosky and Tracy Samosky filed a lawsuit Nov. 5 in the Mercer County Circuit Court against J&M Quality Construction LLC and Mod-U-Kraf Homes LLC.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs entered into a contract with defendant J&M Quality Construction on June 3 to buy a modular home designed and constructed by defendant Mod-U-Kraf Homes, which was contracted to install the home.

As a result of the home being improperly delivered, a number of defects and damages occurred and were discovered when the plaintiffs moved into the home, incurring loan interest on the home they are unable to move into, the complaint says.

The Samoskys are seeking $50,000 in damages, plus costs. They are being represented in the case by attorney Anthony R. Veneri of the Veneri Law Offices.
