Woman files slip-and-fall suit against Outback

HUNTINGTON -- A Milton resident is suing after falling and sustaining injuries while in a restaurant.

Angela Renee Neal filed a lawsuit Feb. 28 in Cabell Circuit Court against Bloomin' Brands Inc., doing business as Outback Steakhouse, citing negligence.

The complaint states on April 25, Neal was at the defendant's restaurant at 3417 U.S. 60 in Barboursville when she slipped and fell on a slick floor. The plaintiff states she sustained a broken wrist in the accident.

The plaintiff is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages, including punitive damages.

Neal is being represented by Scott W. Andrews of Hoover Andrews PLLC. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge F. Jane Hustead.
