BECKLEY -- A Raleigh County man is suing over claims he was misled in the purchase of a manufactured home.

Doug Bryant filed a lawsuit June 17 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Freedom Homes, citing misrepresentation.

According to the complaint, Bryant purchased a manufactured home from Freedom Homes on June 28, 2013, after being assured the set up of the home was included in the purchase price of $73,469.

Bryant says after he purchased the home, the defendant refused to set it up, forcing Bryant to pay an extra $7,000 to a contractor for set up. Freedom Homes is accused of rescission for material misrepresentation of facts and fraud.

Bryant is being represented in the case by attorney Anthony M. Salvatore of Hewitt & Salvatore PLLC in Beckley. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Robert A. Burnside.
