CHARLESTON -- A woman is suing after allegedly slipping in a hospital's ambulance bay.
Sarianne Wright filed suit June 19 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Charleston Area Medical Center Inc.
According to the complaint, on Dec. 9, Wright was a front seat passenger in the defendant's ambulance, which was transporting the plaintiff's husband for medical tests at CAMC. When getting out of the ambulance in the defendant's ambulance bay, Wright stepped onto a patch of snow or ice and slipped and fell, causing injuries to her head and hip, the suit states.
Wright is seeking damages, costs and interest.
She is represented by Elkview attorney Eric B. Hudnall. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Jennifer F. Bailey.
