Walker Machinery says recycling company owes money

CHARLESTON -- A recycling company is being sued for allegedly not paying most of an outstanding account.

Cecil I. Walker Machinery Company filed suit June 27 in Kanawha Circuit Court against West Virginia Recycling Services LLC and George M. Hunyadi.

According to the complaint, the defendants have only made a $3,000 payment on a $19,901.50 account, and the balance is now due.

The plaintiff is seeking damages in the sum of $16,901.50, interest and $220 in fees.

It is represented by Buffalo attorneys James B. Atkins, Paul S. Atkins and Bree Whipp Ogle of Atkins & Ogle Law Offices LC. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Tod J. Kaufman.
