Food company says country club hasn't paid

NEW CUMBERLAND -- A food service company recently filed a lawsuit against a Hancock County business, saying the company has not paid for goods or services provided.

U.S. Foodservice Inc. filed a lawsuit against July 25 in Hancock Circuit Court against The Williams Country Club.

U.S. Foodservice alleges The Williams Country Club has failed to pay for goods, services or funds provided in the amount of $67,637.53.

The plaintiff seeks a judgment against the defendant in the amount of $67,637.53, in addition to pre- and post-judgment interest, late charges, attorney’s and collections fees and court costs.

U.S. Foodservice is represented by Clinton W. Smith of Charleston.
