CHARLESTON – A Kanawha County city is suing over claims a woman owes money for city services.
The City of St. Albans filed a lawsuit Sept. 24 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Deborah D. Duer.
According to the complaint, Duer owes the city of St. Albans in Kanawha County $18,766 for city services on a past-due account.
The city seeks the money owed plus interest and court costs.
It is represented by attorneys James Benjamin Atkins, Paul S. Atkins and Bree Whipp Ogle of Atkins & Ogle Law Offices in Buffalo. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Jennifer F. Bailey.
