WHEELING – A Marshall County man is suing over claims he was not paid all of his wages on time after being fired.

Ronald Crum filed a lawsuit Oct. 2 in Ohio Circuit Court against Brookpark Place Residential Management and Forest City Residential Management Inc., citing the Wage Payment and Collection Act.

According to the complaint, Crum was employed by the defendant companies at their Ohio County facility until Dec. 13, 2013, when he was terminated. Crum says the defendants failed to timely pay him all his wages and benefits in full, constituting a violation of the West Virginia Wage Payment and Collection Act.

Crum seeks unpaid wages and benefits, liquidated damages and attorney fees.

He is represented by attorneys Frank X. Duff, Yolonda G. Lambert and Sandra K. Law of Schrader, Byrd & Companion in Wheeling.
