CHARLESTON -- West Virginia public relations and advertising veterans Patrick Gallagher and Aly Goodwin Gregg announced the formation of a new communications firm with offices in Charleston and Morgantown.
The new firm, Gallagher/Goodwin-Gregg Communications Group is jointly owned by the two communications professionals.
"Aly and I have worked together for a number of years at other firms and felt the time was right to join together our many years of experience and our client relationships into a firm that offers unique experience that is not offered elsewhere in West Virginia," said Gallagher. "What makes us unique is our experience in over thirty states and several foreign countries in major crisis situations, high profile trials as well as our tremendous client relationships.

Gallagher, a graduate of the West Virginia University Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism, has an extensive background in the news media, government public affairs and served as a communications executive with ACF Industries and vice president of public affairs for Kaiser Aluminum. A Fortune 100 communications consultant, Gallagher's prior agency experience includes his role as president of Charles Ryan Associates and senior partner at RMS Strategies.
Gregg, also a graduate of the West Virginia University Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism, has worked on Capitol Hill and as public relations manager for The Greenbrier. In addition, she formerly was a senior account executive at Charles Ryan Associates, where she managed the award-winning West Virginia Tourism account, vice president at Maple Creative and senior vice president at RMS Strategies.
Gregg has served as communications director for the Robert C. Byrd Institute at Marshall University and as the national publicist for former Private First Class Jessica Lynch and, most recently, handled media relations on a pro bono basis for Randal McCloy, the lone survivor of the Sago mine disaster.
Gallagher/Goodwin-Gregg Communications Group specializes in crisis communications, litigation communications, public
relations, and graphic design. The firm has opened offices at 405 Capitol Street in Charleston and in the Wharf District in Morgantown.
