A tailgate party in Atlanta was held at the end of filming for "We Are Marshall." Many Herd fans from West Virginia headed south to take part in the fun.

The Huntington premier of "We Are Marshall" is tentatively set for Thursday, Oct. 26, the day before its nationwide release.

The movie about the aftermath of the 1970 Marshall football plane crash stars Matthew McConaughey and Matthew Fox. Some stars of the movie likely will appear at the Huntington premiere, according to Keith Spears, Marshall's vice president for marketing and communications.

Spears said the premiere likely will be at the Keith-Albee in downtown Huntington.

Filming on the movie recently wrapped in Atlanta. Crews spent about a month in Huntington earlier this year filming scenes for the film.
