  • The Doss's say a state roadway construction project took and damaged their Hurricane property. They claim the state never paid them for taking the property or for the damages.

    Grover A. Harmon and Beverly Harmon vs. David Allen Casto and Virginia Casto

  • Grover Harmon of Cross Lanes claims Casto of Red House ran a traffic light on Oct. 7, 2004, at the intersection of W.Va. 25 and an Interstate 64 off-ramp near Nitro, hitting his vehicle and causing permanent injuries to his shoulder, neck, head, chest and body chemistry. He sues for medical expenses, future expenses and lost wages. His wife sues for loss of consortium.

  • Joyce Harmon claims Brian Snodgrass admittedly exceeded the speed limit and hit her car on Hospital Drive in Hurricane on Nov. 27, 2004, causing severe injuries including severe migraine headaches. She sues for medical expenses, lost wages, loss of earning capacity, injuries, impairment of ability to enjoy life, aggravation, mental anguish and other injuries. Her husband Eddy sues for loss of consortium, society and comfort.

    Barbara Plumley, individually and executrix of the estate of Clarence Setliff, deceased vs. Dr. Donald Klinestiver, Dr. Mohammed Haffar and Putnam General Hospital Inc.

  • Plumley says the defendants' negligence and deviation in standard of care were responsible for Setliff's death. She seeks judgment to compensate for losses and damages.

  • Hysell claims Brown caused a wreck on Interstate 64 eastbound on May 24, 2005. Hysell says he sustained serious and permanent injuries to his whole body, neck and back strain. He seeks medical expenses, travel expenses for medical treatments, loss of wages and income to be determined.
