* Gray Hawk Coal claims it is owed a minimum of $150,000 in unpaid coal royalties. The Cabell County coal company subleased rights to mine 500 acres of land to Appalachian Fuels through Tri-County Mining in September 2001. The suit claims Appalachian halted mining and neglected to pay the royalties on 300,000 tons of mineable coal left in the land.
