WVU's Davis College to host spring career fair Feb. 22

MORGANTOWN - Students graduating in May and seeking employment - as well as those interested in internships - with some of the top employers in landscape architecture, forestry, parks and recreation, agribusiness management, agricultural sciences and natural resources should mark Feb. 22 on their calendars.

The West Virginia University Davis College of Agriculture, Forestry and Consumer Sciences Career Fair is scheduled from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. that day in the Bennett Tower Gold and Blue Ballroom, Evansdale Campus.

Denny Smith, Davis College associate dean for academic affairs, says the goal of the career fair is "to provide internship and employment opportunities for our undergraduate and graduate students.

"It also provides an opportunity for our students to learn about careers in the agriculture, forestry and consumer sciences fields," Smith said.

Students are encouraged to bring their resumes and dress professionally. Some employers conduct on-site interviews.
