PERSONNEL FILE: Miller elected to DTCWV Board of Governors

CHARLESTON -- Jackson Kelly attorney Laurie Miller has been elected to the Board of Governors of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia (DTCWV). Miller will serve as the DTC's "Young Lawyer" representative for a three-year term.

Miller is an associate at Jackson Kelly, practicing in the litigation department where she handles product liability litigation, drug and medical device litigation, commercial litigation and deliberate intent cases. She graduated cum laude from the University of Dayton School of Law. She also currently is Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald House of Southern West Virignia.

The DTCWV was founded in 1981 and currently has a membership of about 400 attorneys. Its purpose is to "elevate the standards of West Virginia trial practice," while providing an extended network for defense attorneys to share and obtain information.
