* Jones claims she was severely injured on Oct. 2, 2004, when a roll of carpet fell on her head and neck while she was in the Carpet World store in Martinsburg. She claims the store failed to provide adequate safety measures to its patrons, and she has suffered pain, loss of income and medical expenses. She is seeking an amount of relief to be determined at trial.

* The plaintiffs claims Sharon Moats suffered an abdominal hemorrhage that caused permanent nerve damage in her leg after the defendants were negligent in evaluating her condition and providing her medical treatment and care. The Moats are seeking at least $100,000 in damages, plus other relief.
