MARTINSBURG -- Martin & Seibert L.C. is to adding to its growing practice, announcing the addition of two new attorneys in its Martinsburg office.
Andrew N. Frye III joins the firm as its new subrogation attorney.
Prior to becoming an associate with Martin & Seibert L.C., Frye worked at the law firm of Mcneer, Highland, Mcmunn and Varner, practicing primarily business litigation with an emphasis on collections and subrogation.
Before making the decision to enter law school, Frye worked for Prudential Insurance Company, West Virginia University and as a paralegal at the law offices of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease in Columbus, Ohio.
A native of Petersburg, Frye graduated from West Virginia University with a B.A. in Political Science in 1989. He graduated again from WVU with a law degree in 2004. As a law student, Frye was a member of the Moot Court and completed two, successful summer clerkships.

The firm also has hired Matthew Whitler as its newest insurance defense attorney.
Most recently, Whitler worked in Winston-Salem, N.C., at the law firm of Hartsoe and Associates where he practiced civil litigation defense for insurance corporations. Whitler's legal career also includes time at the law offices of Calwell & McCormick in Charleston and Wallace & Graham in Salisbury, N.C.
Whitler is from Charleston and attended West Virginia University for both his undergraduate and legal education. He was accepted into the Honor's Program during his undergraduate studies, and graduated with a degree in International Studies in 1994. He received his J.D. from the WVU College of Law in 1997.
Whitler clerked at a firm in Charleston after his first year of law school, and worked for the Litigation Unit of the Worker's Compensation Division of West Virginia after his second year. He was also the president of the Labor and Employment Law Division of the WVU Law School.
Whitler, is happy to be back in West Virginia.
"I'm excited to work with the excellent lawyers and staff here at Martin & Seibert," he said. "Joining this firm has provided me the perfect opportunity to grow my practice back in my home state of West Virginia."
Managing attorney Walter M. Jones III praised the two new hires and the firm's growth.
"The firm continues to focus on depth and experience," he said. "We need attorneys who have real world and real litigation experience, and we are excited with the recent hirings of Matt and Andrew. We will continue to expand our practice to properly staff and support our clients' needs."
Founded in 1908, Martin & Seibert is one of the oldest law firms in West Virginia. The firm's 24 attorneys, five of whom are shareholders, practice in a wide variety of areas, including litigation, real estate, collections, and employment law.
