July 3
Stephanie Reger, individually and as the Parent of Ryan Reger vs. Putnam County 911
PA-Robert B. Warner and Mark A. Glover; J- Eagloski
* Reger filed a Verified Petition for Emergency Temporary Restraining Order and for Permanent Injunction to Preserve Evidence. Ryan Reger, a minor, was severely injured in an accident which occured at the Reger residence in the Woodridge development located in Hurricane. Stephanie Reger discovered her child's injury and called Putnam County 911. Although the dispatcher was immediately able to identify the address, the responding emergency personnel were significantly delayed in arriving at the home due to inadequate and incorrect signage in the Woodridge development, which increased the severity of Ryan Reger's injury. The Petitioner believes that erasing or reusing the tapes will cause irreparable harm and impair her ability to properly investigate and pursue a potential claim on behalf of herself and her son. The Petitioner requests that the Court immediately enter a temporary Restraining Order and temporary injunction that the above named Respondent be forbidden and enjoined from erasing or reusing the subject tapes and be instructed to take such steps necessary to preserve the subject tapes for review and examination in the future.
