Wilson owned a piece of property in Harpers Ferry that the Burhans claims she vacated entrusting them to care, maintain and pay taxes and mortgage payments. During Wilson's absence, the Burhans paid the taxes and mortgage payments and additionally made repairs to the home and property. The Burhans are seeking a reimbursement for their time, costs and related expenses in the renovation and remodeling of the home in the amount of $35,000. They are also seeking an reimbursement for their advance to Wilson's mortgage company to bring the loan current, and be awarded the interest on their advances made for various payments and repairs to the property.
