CLARKSBURG -- Steptoe & Johnson has announced that the firm's Charleston, Clarksburg and Morgantown offices have received the coveted Well Workplace Gold Award, acknowledging its commitment to the health and well-being of employees.
Presented by the Wellness Councils of America (WELCOA), the 2007 Well Workplace Gold Award recognizes Steptoe & Johnson for successfully integrating health promotion into its corporate culture and overall business practices.
"This is a very significant achievement because nationwide, only 59 Golds were awarded," remarked Robert M. Steptoe Jr., CEO of the firm.
Gold Well Workplaces are companies that have successfully built comprehensive worksite wellness initiatives and are demonstrating and documenting concrete outcomes related to behavior change, cost effectiveness and return on investment.
