* McMaster was visiting a Huntington Wendy's when, according to the suit, an unpainted car stop near her vehicle caused her to slip and fall. McMaster claims the poor lighting in the parking lot kept her from seeing the obstruction. She is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.

Patricia Dye v. City of Huntington

* According to the suit, Dye tripped and fell when she stepped onto a sidewalk while crossing 11th Street in Huntington. Dye claims a portion of the curb was broken and the City of Huntington should have warned pedestrians of the hazard posed by the curb. She is seeking compensatory damages.

* Spence worked for Sullivan-Schein as a dental assistant until he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March 2005. After receiving chemotherapy treatments, he returned to work, only to be fired a short time later. The suit claims he was wrongly fired because of his use of company insurance to cover costly treatments for his cancer. Dye also alleges he was terminated because of his disability. He is seeking unspecified punitive and compensatory damages.
