* Carter has filed a petition for injunction against the Snyders. Carter claims they are in violation of Jefferson County ordinances by operating their school in a subdivision for single-family residences only. The Snyders have been operating the school for three years and have failed to present the Jefferson County Planning Commission with a site plan. Carter is asking the court to prohibit the Snyders from operating, advertising or receiving any income from the school until it is brought into compliance. Also, to fine the Snyders in an amount deemed appropriate by the court.
