Turner
CLARKSBURG -- Steptoe & Johnson recently announced that Dean Turner has been named executive director of the firm and will oversee operations from the Clarksburg location.
Turner is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy with a baccalaureate degree in marine transportation. He received a masters of science in aeronautical systems from the University of West Florida, as well as a masters of arts in management and human relations from St. Louis University. Turner is also a fellow of the John F. Kennedy School of Government, located within Harvard University.
Before joining Steptoe & Johnson, Turner worked as the chief administrative officer for the law firm of Pierce Atwood LLP in Portland, Maine, and as the executive director of Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A, in Orlando, Fla. Prior to becoming involved in law firm management, Turner was a naval aviator who culminated his military career at the Pentagon, where he served as an executive assistant in the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
