PERSONNEL FILE: Huddleston Bolen has four attorneys join firm

HUNTINGTON -- Huddleston Bolen has announced that attorneys Jarrod Jordan, Jessica Wiley, Jarrett Gerlach and Michael Addair, and have joined the firm.

Jordan, Wiley and Gerlach will headquarter their practices in the firm's Huntington office, and Addair will practice in the firm's Charleston office.

A native of Huntington, Jordan graduated magna cum laude from Marshall University with at Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics with the distinction of "The Outstanding Graduating Senior in Economics." Jordan received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2007 from West Virginia University as a recipient of the Lewis A. Staker Law Scholarship.

While at the College of Law , Jordan was Executive Editor of the West Virginia Law Review. He also drafted legislation entitled "The West Virginia Film Industry Investment Act," offering tax incentives for the filming of major motion pictures in West Virginia, which was signed into law by Gov. Joe Manchin in 2007.

Wiley joined Huddleston Bolen's Huntington office after spending a summer in the firm's clerking program. She practices in the Litigation and Transportation practice groups, where practice is devoted to the defense of transportation litigation, class actions and mass torts and complex commercial disputes.

A native of Fort Gay in Wayne County, Wiley joined the United States Army Reserves at a young age. During her military career, she spent a year on deployment in Fort Lewis, Wash. She will be honorably discharged in early 2008 at the rank of sergeant.

Wiley graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. She continued her studies at the West Virginia University College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate

Gerlach focuses his practice on the areas of class action and mass torts, transportation litigation and general civil litigation. Gerlach is a native of Point Pleasant in Mason County. He graduated magna cum laude from Marshall University with a bachelor's degree in political science. He also received the Pi Sigma Alpha book award at Marshall as the outstanding political science graduate.

After graduation, Gerlach attended the West Virginia University College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2007.

Addair joined the firm in 2007 after a completing two years in the firm's summer clerk program. Addair practices primarily in the area of transportation litigation, insurance defense and, insurance coverage, and insurance bad faith.

Addair is a native of Bartley. He attended Marshall University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2003. Addair obtained his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2007 from West Virginia University. While he was in law school, Addair was a member of the West Virginia Law Review, serving as an Executive Notes Editor and on the Law Review's Executive Committee.

All four attorneys recently joining Huddleston Bolen are currently admitted to practice in the State of West Virginia as well as before the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.
