Edward Douglas DeMonde Jr. v. Jason Allen Brown, an individual, and Laura Brown, an individual

* On Dec. 23, 2005, DeMonde was a passenger in a car driven by Jason Allen Brown. DeMonde is claiming that Brown breached his legal duty to use due care when driving the car at an excessive rate of speed and it collided with a tree. DeMonde claims he has suffered permanent injuries because of the accident and will continue to receive medical treatment for such injuries. He has also suffered lost wages as well as other damages. The car Brown was driving was owned by Laura Brown. DeMonde claims Laura Brown is also liable for damages.

* Northstar sold material to Halltown for $73,379.78. Halltown has failed to pay the remainder of the balance of $65,452.28. Northstar is seeking the balance.

Christopher Young v. Ranson Golden Horseshoe Inc. d/b/a Golden Horseshoe Club, James E. Sullivan Sr., Linda L. Sullivan, Danielle Renee Thomas-James and John Doe.
PA-Stephen Skinner; J-Thomas Steptoe Jr.
* On Dec. 25, 2005, Young was an invitee by the defendants on the Golden Horseshoe Club property. He claims Thomas-James and Doe attempted to rob people in car in the parking lot. When Young came to the aid of the people in the car, Thomas-James shot Young in the neck, and then fled with Doe in a car. Young claims the Sullivans were negligent and, among other things, failed to provide adequate security in and around the Golden Horseshoe Club. Young claims to incur future medical costs and has lost wages as result of the injury. And Thomas-Jones and Doe were responsible for his injuries. Young is seeking pre-judment interest and punitive damages.
