PA-pro se; J-Gina Groh
* Dollar claims that on two occasions she entered into an agreement to co-own Boxer dogs bred by him in Mexico. She claims he represented the dogs to be fully and properly registered by the American Kennel Club. She claims she invested thousands of dollars in the dogs' care, veterinary expenses and handling fees over a four-year period. Dollar bred a Boxer female with a Champion male Boxer that produced six puppies she believed would be eligible for registration for the AKC. She also leased a Boxer female that produced another litter of puppies sired by Pinzon's Mexican bloodlines. Puppies were sold for up to $2,500. Dollar has been made aware that Pinzon knowingly and fraudulently registered the Mexican puppies as being born in the United States, a violation of AKC rules and regulations. This resulted in any and all dogs bred by him as unregistered AKC and therefore worthless. His actions resulted in a loss of value and breeding stock of no fewer than 14 dogs and potential loss of her good name. She is seeking $50,000 in compensatory damages and $50,000 in punitive damages.
