CINCINNATI – West Virginia Supreme Court Justice Larry V. Starcher is among the jurists who will be judging the final round of the University of Cincinnati College of Law's 21st Annual Rendigs National Products Liability Moot Court Competition on April 5.

The Rendigs competition, the only moot court competition devoted entirely to the area of products liability, will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. at the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati.

Starcher and jurists from other state Supreme Courts and federal courts will judge two quarterfinal founds, a semifinal round and a final round.

The event begins Friday evening with a banquet at the Netherland Plaza Hilton; the keynote speech will be delivered by Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Thomas Moyer. On Saturday evening, another dinner will be hosted by Law School Dean Louis Bilinois at the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center.

Starcher has served as an adjunct lecturer at the West Virginia University College of Law since 1992 and has judged moot court competitions in several states.
