PERSONNEL FILE: Davis selected as Bar Foundation Fellow

CHARLESTON -- Spilman Thomas & Battle is pleased to announce that K. Paul Davis, a member of the firm, has been selected and accepted as a West Virginia Bar Foundation Fellow for 2008.

According to the West Virginia Bar Foundation, "the Foundation Fellows program recognizes the outstanding leaders of our legal profession and justice system in West Virginia."

The Fellows were to be honored at a dinner on Thursday, April 24.

Davis was born and raised in Salem, W.Va. He attended West Virginia University as an undergraduate and was a First Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. After returning home from active duty, he received his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law.

Davis joined Spilman in 1988. He has served on the Management Committee and is a past and current chair of the Corporate Department.

David P. Ferretti, member in Charge of Lawyer Administration at Spilman, praised Davis' work ethic, loyalty and friendship.
