* In May 2006, Ralph King was driving his car on U.S. 340. Elizabeth King was a passenger. Flores struck the rear of Ralph King's vehicle. Ralph King was injured in the accident and plans to incur future medical bills. He is seeking $500,000 plus interest, costs and other further relief. Elizabeth King was also injured in the accident and expects to incur future medical expenses. Margaret King, as personal respresentative of Elizabeth King's estate is seeking $250,000 plus interest, costs and additional relief.

* Fertal and Daniel Campbell are former employees of Campbell Miller Zimmerman, of which its founding members is James P. Campbell. James Campbell has an interest in the operation of Liberty Street Enterprises LLC, which operates C.W. Tiffins. Daniel Campbell claims his brother, James, promised him health benefits and be placed on payroll at C.W. Tiffins. Fertal was also told he would receive health benefits and be put on payroll. Both were told that they would eventually be managers of an enterprise of restaurants. During operation, both Fertal and Daniel Campbell claim they paid out of pocket for many of the restaurants' expenses and were never reimbursed as well as never received wages. They are seeking past wages; claim negligent legal counsel and breach of fiduciary duties and fraud and misrepresentation. They are seeking punitive and compensatory damages.

Sam Bellotte v. Wal-Mart Stores East, LP, and Detective Tracy L. Edwards and Deputy P. G. Smith

* Bellotte operated a self-service photo maker at a Wal-Mart store in Winchester, Va. He claims the assistant manager asked to see the photos to make sure there were no nude photos. He told her there were nude photos, but they were not to look at them. Management agreed to shred the photos and Bellotte claims to have left the photos in their possession with the understanding they were to be viewed. Wal-Mart employees looked at the photos and contacted police in Winchester, Va., and Jefferson County, W.Va., claiming the photos contained sexually explicit photographs of children. He claims the accusation is false. Bellotte claims that Edwards made statements to The Journal of Martinsburg that accused Bellotte of child pornography; the newspaper did not name him in the article. He is seeking punitive damages and any relief to which he may be entitled.
