Mortgage company sues Jefferson County man

BERKELEY SPRINGS -- Saxon Mortgage Services has filed a breach of contract complaint, alleging a Jefferson County resident failed to pay a loan agreement.

Represented by Richard Railston of Seattle, Wash., Saxton Mortgage Services claims Robert Pierce Jr. entered into a loan agreement June 9, 2006, but failed to make payments on a timely basis.

"Defendant is due and owing pursuant to the loan agreement in the amount of $46,829.03," the complaint filed Aug. 25 in Jefferson County states.

In addition to the balance due, Saxon Mortgage Services is also seeking court costs and attorney fees.
