Breach of contract suit filed by Firestone Financial

Firestone Financial Corp. has filed a breach of contract complaint against two Putnam County residents and two West Virginia companies, alleging they failed to pay charges on an invoice, promissory note and security agreements.

Represented by Stephen L. Gaylock of the Law Office of John R. Mitchell, Jr. in Charleston, Firestone claims Heather Lovejoy guaranteed payment for the $33,922.16 owed to it by Dreamland Amusement and Vending, but has not paid it.

Firestone also alleges Matthew Gibson guaranteed payment for the $942.32 owed to it by Tri State Amusement, but has not paid it.

The amounts were accrued Jan. 9, according to the complaint.

In addition to the balance due, Firestone is seeking interest on the amounts, fees and damages available pursuant to the contracts, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorneys' fees, collection expenses and court costs.
