CHARLESTON -- A free workshop on "Protecting Yourself from Identity Theft" will be presented on at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22, by Assistant Attorney General Chris Hedges of the West Virginia Attorney General's Office.
The workshop will focus on methods for guarding against identity theft and the legal rights of identity theft victims.
The workshop will be held in the State Law Library, located in Building 1 of the West Virginia State Capitol Complex, on the fourth floor in Room E-404.
Metered parking (free after 5 p.m.) is available along California Avenue and behind the Cultural Center near the parking garage.
The workshop is open to the public and no registration is required.
