HUNTINGTON -- Corporate Counsel magazine has named Huddleston Bolen LLP a "Go-To Law Firm" in the areas of litigation and labor and employment law.
According to Corporate Counsel, less than one half of 1 percent of all law firms in the world are included in the magazine's "Go-To Law Firm" list.
The magazine's publishers say the list is limited to those law firms that general counsel at the world's leading 500 companies rely upon routinely and for the most critical matters. Huddleston Bolen was nominated by both CSX and Norfolk Southern.
"Huddleston Bolen is known for trying the toughest cases in the toughest venues, with an unparalleled record of success," said Tom Gilpin, Chair of the firm's Management Committee. "We are honored that our good clients, CSX and Norfolk Southern, consider us their "go-to" firms and are proud to be named to such an exclusive list of the world's leading law firms."
Corporate Counsel magazine is the nation's leading publication for general counsel and in-house lawyers at leading global and national corporations. The sixth annual "Go-To Law Firm" list will be published in the magazine's January 2009 issue.
Huddleston Bolen is a law firm with more than 50 attorneys practicing in offices located in Huntington and Charleston in West Virginia and Ashland and Louisville in Kentucky. The firm, founded in 1871, represents clients in many practice groups, including banking and finance, health care, insurance, litigation, natural resources, real estate and transportation.
