PERSONNEL FILE: Kinley Named Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America

WHEELING -– Mark E. Kinley of the law firm of Steptoe & Johnson has been selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary society comprised of experienced and effective litigators throughout the United States, which represents less than one-half of 1 percent of American lawyers.

Fellowship in the LCA is limited and by invitation only. Kinley has focused his more than 20 years of practice in the area of general insurance defense litigation.

Kinley received his legal education from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was Senior Editor of the Journal of Law and Commerce and was published in Volume 6, Issue 2 of that law review. He also holds graduate and undergraduate degrees from The Pennsylvania State University.

After joining Steptoe & Johnson in 1987, Kinley opened the Wheeling Office of the firm in 1994 and served as its first managing member. He and his wife, Fran, are involved in community activities in the Upper Ohio Valley and have two wonderful daughters.
