CHARLESTON -- A free informational workshop on the Digital Television (DTV) transition will be presented by the West Virginia State Law Library at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28.
The workshop will focus on the analog to digital television conversion mandated by federal law which will occur on Feb. 17.
The session will examine the purpose and effect of the digital transition and describe how to update a TV to receive the new signals. Free handouts and diagrams will be available.
The meeting will be held in the State Law Library, located in Building 1, Room E-404 of the West Virginia State Capitol Complex. Metered parking is available along California Avenue and behind the Cultural Center near the parking garage.
