CHARLESTON -- Jackson Kelly is pleased to announce the promotion of six attorneys.
Whitney Clegg, Amber Hoback, and Brian R. Swiger have been elevated to Equity Member status and now have ownership stake in the firm. James "Rob" Alsop, Jessica R. Alsop and Michael E. Hooper have been elected as members.
Clegg is in the firm's Wheeling office, practicing in the firm's Litigation, e-Discovery and Coal Practice Groups.
Hoback practices in the firm's Litigation Department in the Charleston office and is a member of the Recruitment Committee.
Swiger practices in the firm's Litigation Department in the Charleston office. Swiger's practice is focused on representing clients in connection with wrongful death, catastrophic injury and high-risk litigation.
Rob Alsop practices with the Business Law Department in the Charleston office and previously served in the Manchin Administration as Deputy General Counsel, then as, Cabinet Secretary for the West Virginia Department of Revenue.
Jessica Alsop practices with the Business Law Department in the Charleston office. Her focus is federal tax issues and commercial litigation.
Michael Hooper practices in the firm's Wheeling office. His practice is focused mainly on business transactions and formation.
