CLARKSBURG -- Steptoe & Johnson has announced the promotion of three attorneys to membership effective Jan. 1.

Kristian J. Jamieson (Morgantown) concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, commercial transactions, banking and finance. He represents a variety of clients from the banking, financial services manufacturing, and high technology industries ranging in size from sole proprietorships to national corporations.
Jamieson is a past Chairman of the Monongahela River Recreation and Commerce Committee and a current member of Vision 20/20 and the Monongalia County Bar Association.
Jamieson received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Mary Washington College, and earned his law degree from The Wake Forest University School of Law.
Russell D. Jessee (Charleston) is a commercial litigator who focuses primarily on defending businesses in consumer credit, contract, employment, and unfair trade practices cases.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia, and the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce.
Jessee received his law degree summa cum laude from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he served as Lead Articles Editor of the Washington and Lee Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He received his B.A. in Journalism, summa cum laude, from Virginia Tech, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and received the John W. Eure Award for Excellence in Journalism.
Before becoming an attorney, Jessee was managing editor of The Pocahontas Times in Marlinton.
Anders W. Lindberg (Huntington) focuses his practice in the areas of professional liability defense, employment litigation and general litigation. Lindberg has handled numerous medical professional liability cases, complex litigation involving employment disputes and has represented local businesses and as well as international corporations.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia, Huntington Chamber of Commerce and Defense Research Institute. Lindberg serves as Secretary of the Executive Committee of the West Virginia State Bar Young Lawyer Section and is past president of the West Virginia Bar Association's Young
Lawyer Division.
He received his legal education from West Virginia University, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board. Lindberg received his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Marshall University.
