CHARLESTON -- Flaherty, Sensabaugh & Bonasso has announced that Michael T. Bumgarner has been named Chief Operating Officer.
Bumgarner will continue to oversee firm operations from the Charleston office.
Bumgarner has served as the firm's manager since 2002. During his tenure Bumgarner has managed personnel, technology, marketing, office expansions and the firm's accounting. Over the years Bumgarner has established himself as a true strategic asset of the firm.
"We believe the position will become more complex and strategic over time and the firm is confident in Mike's ability to serve the firm in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer," said Thomas Flaherty, one of the firm's founders.
Bumgarner graduated from West Virginia University in 1990 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration, with emphasis in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Legal Manager. Bumgarner holds the distinction of being the first and only Certified Legal Manager in West Virginia.
