MORGANTOWN -- Dinsmore & Shohl is pleased to announce that F. Thomas Rubenstein has been named the office managing partner for the firm's Morgantown office.
Tom will be taking over for his brother Harry M. ("Moe") Rubenstein, who was the office managing partner for the firm's Morgantown office since it opened.
"Moe has been instrumental in guiding our Morgantown office through the transition phase since it became a part of Dinsmore in 2007," said Henry Jernigan, Managing Partner of Dinsmore & Shohl's West Virginia offices. "While we will miss his leadership, the firm is confident that Tom will bring the same dedication and skill to the management role as we move forward."
Moe Rubenstein will be transitioning to an Of Counsel position with the firm as he devotes more of his time to MedExpress, assuming an in-house counsel role.
"Tom has been my lifetime mentor and will be excellent at guiding the continued growth of our Morgantown office," said Moe Rubenstein. "He is respected by all in the legal profession and the community at large. The firm is blessed to have Tom take on this position of leadership."
F. Thomas Rubenstein is a partner in the Natural Resources Practice Group. Tom has more than 27 years of experience as a coal and natural resources lawyer with both substantial in-house and private practice experience representing public and private operating and land holding companies. He also has been selected for numerous awards including being listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for Natural Resources law. Tom earned his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law and his B.A. from West Virginia University.
