CHARLESTON -- The formation of a new conservative grassroots organization in Kanawha County is being announced.
The County Conservative Foundation has started running radio ads encouraging conservatives to stand up and be heard and to visit its Web site at www.wvconservatives.com to learn more.
"Conservative ideals have helped provide much of the success our country has enjoyed, ideals such as personal responsibility, limited government, and low taxes," County Conservative Foundation President Mike Stuart said. "Unfortunately, these conservative ideals are under attack. We hope that this organization will help provide local conservatives with a voice to promote these issues that have been the strength of our country."
The CCF will be holding several public events over the next few months. Detailes about those events will be announced soon.
The Web site will also have a blog updated daily focused on conservative issues at both the local and national levels.
