HUNTINGTON -- April 12-18 is National Book Week, and local law firm Huddleston Bolen is celebrating by giving the gift of reading to the community.

In conjunction with Lexis Nexis, a leading provider of legal, news and business resources, Huddleston Bolen is collecting gently used books at its Huntington offices to benefit the Huntington Weed & Seed program.

"Weed & Seed is a nationally-recognized, federally-funded program that directly benefits members of the Huntington community," said Thomas McChesney, Director of Marketing and Business Development for Huddleston Bolen. "We are pleased to offer our resources to aid in this innovative program and ensure its sustained growth and impact," he added.

Weed and Seed is a community-based, multiagency strategic approach to law enforcement, crime prevention, and community revitalization. The Huntington Weed & Seed offices are located at the former Barnett Child Care Center building at the corner of 10th Avenue and Hal Greer Boulevard.

Huddleston Bolen will be accepting donated books today through Friday, April 24. Donations may be left at the first-floor front desk at the firm's Huntington offices, located at 611 Third Avenue, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
