Hurney
CHARLESTON -– Jackson Kelly attorney Thomas J. Hurney Jr. has been appointed to the 10-person National Executive Council of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys (ADTA).
ADTA accepts members by invitation only, and there is only one prime member in any city with a population of less than one million. According the ADTA Web site, "a member of the ADTA is a proven and recognized successful professional possessing the highest skill level of a defense trial attorney in civil cases. It members are proud of their reputations and their success and they carefully select those they invite to be a member of the Associaton of Defense Trial Attorneys."
ADTA provides an opportunity for defense trial attorneys to associate with similarly qualified trial attorneys for professional, social and business purposes and serves as a select referral network for litigation matters in the United States and Canada.
Hurney has a varied statewide practice focusing mainly on jury trials in defending cases involving serious personal injury and wrongful death.
