CHARLESTON -- The State Law Library will present a free educational workshop on basic legal research at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 22.
Explanations of how to research common legal topics, methods of searching print materials and electronic databases, and techniques for locating cases and statutes will be covered. Hands-on techniques will be demonstrated.
The State Law Library is located in the East Wing of the State Capitol, Room E-404, (in the main building of the State Capitol Complex). Metered parking is available on California Avenue, behind the Culture Center, and near the parking garage off Piedmont Avenue. Parking is free after 5 p.m.
