PERSONNEL FILE: Boone joins Bowles Rice

CHARLESTON -- Managing partner Thomas A. Heywood has announced that Floyd Boone has joined the law firm of Bowles Rice McDavid Graff & Love as Special Counsel in the firm's Charleston office.

Boone is a member of the firm's litigation department, focusing his practice in business litigation, class actions, toxic torts, product liability, electronic discovery and financial services litigation.

A native of Bluefield, Boone joins Bowles Rice after eight years with a law firm in Washington, D.C.

He received his bachelor of arts degree, summa cum laude, from Concord College and his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law, where he was editor in chief of the West Virginia Law Review and Order of the Coif.

Bowles Rice is a regional law firm with 120 attorneys and seven offices in Charleston, Martinsburg, Morgantown, and Parkersburg in West Virginia; Lexington, Ky.; and Winchester, Va.
